Herring Gull (Larus argentatus) with abnormal small body size

This abnormally small and petite 4cy Herring Gull was seen February 5, 2012 in Hanstholm Harbour. Its most striking feature was the small size in direct size comparison with argentatus and just a little larger than the Common Gulls in its vicinity. However, it was not only being small, but also very petite with a small and pointed bill. It attracted my immediate attention due to its elegant proportions and obvious dwarf size.
