Glaucous Gull (Larus hyperboreus), 3cy, 4.2.2012, Hvide Sande Harbour

This is one of five different Glaucous Gulls seen today in Hvide Sande Harbour flying together with a 2cy Viking Gull, five different Iceland and one 3cy Kumlien's Gull...

It was aged as a 3cy due what appears to be lack of distinct white tips to the inner primaries and immature bare part coloration, i.e. a 4cy should have had adult patterned inner primaries and often a more developed bill colouration.

Aerial bombardment...

...of a strategic nature
